Let's go shopping!Kdrama Review:Shopping king louis

Image result for shopping king louie
I loved this show.
Three words. Simple, fun, adorable. it happens very often where you can find good written fun drama. Shopping king Louis is worth your time, I promise. Fell in love with Seo In Guk instantly after watching this drama. The male lead is complete oppopsite from what we've seen in dramaland. He is sweet, innocent who needs to be protected from the world! and our female lead does the job beautifully.

Cast: 10/10
Plot: 8/10
enjoyment: 10/10
overall:9/10

 Plot
A romantic comedy about Louis (Seo In-guk), a rich heir who always spends money to buy everything that has a subtle beauty talking to his soul. One day he loses his memory and meets Bok-Shil (Nam Ji-hyun), a pure and energetic woman from the countryside. She is at first astounded by his spending habits. In the process of teaching him to only buy bare necessities or inexpensive small kindnesses that lighten up one's day, she also learns that bare necessities are not same for everyone as they depend on everyone's own values that shape their life and thus their shopping patterns. Both have innate innocence which bring them to care for each other, leading to undeniable love.

Good
I can't explain you enough how cute and pure the characters are from this drama if you haven't watch the show yet.First of all, it breaks all the cliche of rich guy-poor girl in dramaland. For a change you won't see any Love-hate relationship between leads or parents being against their relationship. He's the most down to earth chaebol I've ever seen. His character was simply pure and full of generosity. I've never missed a character or attached to it after so long time.
Image result for shopping king louie

  • Louis: Best.Best.Best. He is an innocent chaebol who doesn't know anything about the world. He was never negative. In dramas, you expect the male lead to change but in this show Louis always was the same person deep down. Even after he lost his memories and became homeless he was the same person. I loved how he learnt how to be mature, even after gaining so many experiences he never lost his innocence and pureness, In simple sentence I MISS LOUIS!
  • His puppy face whenever he asked for money from bok shil was pure gem! It always worked.

  • Bok-shil: This girl is adorable. I loved how innocent she is, even though she is mature enough to understand what is bad and good, she never failed to impress  us with her warm heart. She is always helpful to others. Can I just say how much I appreciate her boldness. She was always the one who fought with others for Louis,  nearly saved him from goons, and she was the bread-maker of their small little happy family.

  • I loved how this show demonstrates the difficulties of different situations. For instance, I loved the way they bought a house, and created their small little world of happiness. ah! cute
  • My favourite scene was everytime little Louis gets happy because of bok shil's kindness! Loved the way Louis slowly learnt how to develop feelings even though he was a child himself. I never was prepared for Louis who's so innocent and childlike will fall in love.  Seriously, when Louis kissed bok shil for the first time, only thoughts were going through my mind was ''Is it the innocent and childlike Louis I know??'' I so not was prepared.

  • The second male lead: Although I don't consider him as second lead, he played more of a father role for our leads. I enjoyed his character very much. He was short-tempered but kind guy. I enjoyed his prickly personality more than anything , had a good laugh while watching him fight with louis for bok shil. I liked the idea of his face staying in exact same reaction throughout the whole series. I hated the age difference between him and bok shil, he was 40 and bok shil was 21, How does he fall in love with a girl, exact half his age! but then again love has no age. sigh!
Image result for shopping king louie second lead
  • The main point in this drama is you will never get sick of cuteness, if you have a same drama taste as me. Before watching the show I thought I would eventually become bored of this drama but I happy to announce that it never happened! You will become so invested in characters that you can't stop but fall in love with them.
  • The show wasn't rushing in any sense. It was going slowly and smoothly. It was really well written that everything was just happening one by one. Overall The show was very organized with the story line. And the ending♥ I just loved how the leads got more closer after the ending. LOVED IT!

  • I want to take a moment to appreciate the cinematography. It was beautiful. straightway you will get the happy vibe from this drama. If you want to watch a happy fun loving drama after a long day, just watch this drama, I promise it will put a smile on your face. The drama has this pastel vibe♥

Love story of a ghost!Kdrama review:Let's fight ghost/Bring it on,ghost!

Image result for lets fight ghost

This drama was surprisingly good. I never thought I would like a ghost drama this much. The teaser and summery seemed a little bit down for me, but as you start to watch the show, you start to realize that you actually are enjoying the show. It wasn't a really complicated horror drama. it was fun and a bit scary to watch. I am not saying ''scary'' as in jumpscares, the antagonist did a great job to creep me out. Overall, enjoyable to watch.
Plus Taecyeon's adorable smile is enough to keep you going♥ Dream high throwback!

Good

I have to say, I enjoyed reasonable a lot of things from the show. It was a unusual romance from any other dramas I've watched.
I developed a great tenderness for the characters in the show. Let's begin with our OTP.

  • Kim so hyun and Taecyeon: I absolutely adored taechyun in dream high. This show suits him in several ways, Taecyeon plays as a ghost hunter Park Bong Pal. Unlike kim so hyun's character he's very quite and lonely. He doesn't know how to express any feelings and that lead him to live a lonely outcast life. I am surprised that age difference didn't bother me at all. Usually the age difference is the main reason why i don't appreciate a drama, but here this wasn't a setback for me. I appreciate their adorableness♥ Unlike Park bong pal,  Hyun ji is a fun-loving ghost, who doesn't remember anything regarding to her life. I loved hyun ji more than anything, her little appreciation for everything was endearing. Top of that she's full of ayego but super strong at the same time. Also, they make a great ghost-fighter team. The ghosts-human relationship was cute and unusual.
  • The kissing scene in the beginning, I definitely didn't find it awkward or cringey, I am sure Director was trying to keep in mind the age gap. It was simple for an accidental kiss.
  • Spoiler-------------I enjoyed little things like, how Hyun ji gets so happy after Bong pal bought her a toothbrush. The way she was treasuring the brush was way too cute and heart warming---------------End spoiler
  • spoiler-------------- The time bong pal got beaten up by our female lead was weirdly amusing to me, I love when there's a strong female lead who can beat ass. ----------------end spoiler

  • I found the ghost-stories highly enjoyable. Some stories were very emotional and serious, where other's were really funny.
  • Spoiler**-------------- Especially, the story of son-mother who were killed by an abusive father was extremely touching and emotional. ----------------End spoiler

  • In Rang and Chun Sang: The duo was surprisingly funny and enjoyable to watch. You can watch them whole day doing silly things. There was some moments where I realized I started to adore this duo. I loved how these two were supporting the relationship of Hyun ji and Bong pal♥  It was heart touching to see how they adored Hyun ji and bong pal. Although I never understood the point of taking them in the Ghost-beating team , cause there wasn't a single fight where these two helped our OTP. They were just scary cats who had the courage to go near the ghosts. anyways, had a great laugh while watching them♥  over-the-top reactions are always my favourites.

  • Hye sung: Even though i was disgusted by this particular character that it nearly made me stop watching the show, I will put this under the ''Goods'' as it did a job that it wanted. Hye sung's creepy nature did a great job convincing me to loathe against it. ugh. It nearly made me cry and disgusted when he was taking life from a cute kitten. and numerous number of people that he murdered.

Bad

·      Huge spoilers--------Show became kind of boring when it was revealed that Hyun ji is alive, after she got her life back she apperantly forgot the time she spent with bong pal. poor boy. Why does it has to happen? More than ghost busting, there were just boring track of how bong pal will regain her love for him. She eventually fell in love with him again, but not satisfied at all with the fact that she will never remember the amazing moments when she was with Bong pal. ------------------End spoiler

Delicious Korean foods from kdramas!

Okay, I've seen a lot of glimpse of various types of food in dramaland. Can I just point out that how much I want to try these dishes. It looks incredibly attractive and then the way they present it in a drama, like taking a sip and eating it with your whole mind and soul. I am a fan of spicy food! Usually, I don't eat that much. but when I like something or I find something delicious I can spend hours with that thing. or you can say I am a slow eater but that's not the point, Today I specifically want to talk about the food that is shown in dramas.

Image result for korean food in dramas This is the reason I want to try these food out! It just looks so delicious! The way they are enjoying the food makes me want to try even more!
Image result for korean food in dramas ramen
Me while watching an episode. When you have to choose between the reading subtitles or staring at the characters eating Ramen. Speaking of Ramen, isn't it the usual noodles or it's different? either way it looks highly pleasent to the taste. I've been noticing Ramen way more than before after watching ''The K2''. Thant Ramen scene was way too adorable♥

I realized it kinda looks creepy here, haha! but promise! it was really cute♥

The amount of time I've seen this ''Pork belly'' I seriously lost count. and also countless time they say ''it melts in my mouth'' just makes me even more hungry.

Kdrama Review:Thumping Spike 2

Image result for thumping spike 2

Ah! Throwback to one of the best drama character ''Kim Yeol'' from Sassy go go, Now here again Lee won keun is ready to make me fall in love with him all over again. I miss Kim yeol and other characters from Sassy go go. Loved that show so so so so so much. Now I am realizing all over again how much I liked that show. Sweet memories.
So, Thumping spike 2. I loved Lee won keun, probably the reason I was willing to watch the show. I haven't watched the Thumping spike 1, but as far I watched thumping spike 2, I am not upset with the drama, but I am not completely satisfied either.

PLOT:6/10
CAST:9/10

OVERALL: 6.5/10

PLOT

'Introverted bookworm Han Da Woon (Kim So Eun) starts to come out of her shell when she bumps heads with Dong Hae Sung (Lee Won Geun), the star player of her school's volleyball team.
Related image REVIEW

I must say, Lee won keun's character was nicely done but definitely he was way better in Sassy Go Go.  Hae sung is the star volleyball player who decided to drop his career and pursue his studying. His character should I say could've been better written. The main problem of this show is after few episodes, things started to make less sense, and kind of lost it's plot. Even though overall I enjoyed the show, I am not satisfied wih the fact that the drama was poorly written. Some things just COMPLETELY didn't make sense. after episode 12ish I wanted to drop the show, but still decided to continue, only hoping for the show to get better. It didn't get completely better, but definitely was less worse.
Kim So eun as Han Da Woon, probably isn't the best character. She started off as sweet innocent looking but later on, found her as one of the most frustrating female lead. She just won't speak up for her own life for some reason.
Image result for thumping spike 2
She does really look adorable tho

Episode 1-10: at episode 9-10, when I finally started to think I am enjoying the show, despite of some bits here and there which I was willing to forgive, suddenly out of nowhere, the drama started to get weirder. The plot just didn't make sense.here some quick lists.
..........SPOILER ALERT...............

  • Unnecessary and cringey relationship between Go Yi ra and Han da won.
  • If she was unhappy with the relationship, she should speak up!
  • Hae sung out of nowhere confesses her feelings to Da won?
  • Dad applying to drop-out college without even him knowing (It's not believable in any sense)
  • The whole fan stabbing his hand was utterly useless
  • At hospital, anything and everything happened was completely nonsense. Why they are  refusing to get the surgery done? why the dad is begging the doctor? Why dad and hae sung became all good and nice suddenly ? just why and why??
  • Da won going out with the two boys at the same time/when she could break up with Yi ra first., but decided to play along (So unlike of her ''sweet'' personality)
  • I straight up got so annoyed with the fact that Yi ra trusted both Hae sung and Da woon, and got back-stabbed by them. for the whole they treated him like some kind of insect. There was no friendship development between them.

The stuff I enjoyed..
  • The sisterhood between Han da woon and her twin sis.
  • I loved how the both twins are completely different.
  • Ah reum was my favourite. Her attitude was always on point.
Image result for thumping spike 2
    Ah reum♥

Go yi ra. He is a funny, good looking character and probably the main character for me. He is the only one who cared about stuff which made sense. for instance, He started off liking volleyball and could do anything to play, and He finished off the drama playing volleyball and won.
  • I liked the ending where Go yi ra found his girl(finally) who is perfect for his personality. The girl is none other than Han da won's sister, who definitely managed to be likable unlike her frustrating sister Han Da Won
  • The cute smile of Lee won geun
  • Cute scenes from the beginning between our leads

The stuff I wished to happen...
  • More screen space for Han da won's sister. Who apparently appeared once in a while, still managed to be more female lead material than our actual lead.
  • I wished everybody appreciate Go yi ra for once.
  • to witness a story for Go Yi ra and Da won's sis, Ah reum.

Kdrama review:Noble,My love

Image result for noble my love review
I would say, it started of as a nice and simple which could've been better  as you go along, but definitely didn't. The show became duller in last 3 episode. If it was an hour long drama, i wouldn't be pleased with it, but seeing that it was a web-drama, the show wasn't completely bad.
but... Definitely could've been more better.

PLOT: 4/10
CAST: 8/10
ENJOYMENT:8/10
OVERALL: 6/10

PLOT
Lee Kang Hoon (Sung Hoon) is a wealthy heir who is attractive, but he cares little for the feelings of other people. Cha Yoon Seo (Kim Jae Kyung) is a cheerful and lovely veterinarian who runs her own animal hospital. After the two meet in an unexpected crisis, can feelings of dislike turn into feelings of love?

REVIEW

Because it is a web drama, my review will not be like my usual (Long) review. I will keep it short and simple.
This show is not one of those shows where you expect everything to be great. It won't have an amazing storyline or great OST'. This drama is for you if you are looking for a nice, short, amusing love story to watch when you are really exhausted and all you want is to chill.
The show is full of romantic cliches. and it is definitely predictable. If you've watched dramas for a while, you will be able to guess what will happen next. You will get to witness a lot of accidental hugs and kisses, possessive and cute boyfriend moments, Cinderella love-story, wrist-grabbing...and the list will go on. It's definitely a must watch drama, if you would love to have a throwback for old rom-com scenes.
I loved the ''comic characters'' comparison, it makes the show even more cuter and it's visually appealing.
Image result for noble my love review
Image result for noble my love review

Sung hoon's character starts off as a ''jerk'' and ends up being a sweet, caring boyfriend. You will get to witness some possessive boyfriend moments. A jerk main lead is nothing new in dramaland. If you ask me, Sung hoon's acting delivery wasn't the best, It was a little bit hard to engage with him as an audience. I would've been more satisfied with the character if it could show me more than one emotion. For instance I didn't even realize when was the time he fell in love with her.
I liked this drama. I enjoyed this drama way too much I think. The show was harmless and funny. It won't fail to make you smile after a long busy day. Cute bubbly moments are the biggest plus point for this drama. A gorgeous free spirited Female lead manages to change the cold jerk chaebol's little heart. The chemistry was really strong between our main leads. If you are into romantic dramas, definitely watch this.

I want Hiccups! Kdrama Review:Pinocchio

Related image
Before watching this drama, I thought the storyline would be something like the Disney movie ''pinocchio'' but It wasn't anything like that (Obviously). I know what you are thinking, No.I haven't read the plot summary because Lee jong suk was here, Without even thinking I wanted to watch this drama. This drama surely didn't disappoint me in any factor. Actually my response for this show is pretty positive.

PLOT: 7/10
CAST:9/10
ENJOYMENT:7/10
OVERALL:8/10

PLOT
As a child, Ha-Myeong (Lee Jong-Suk) grew up in a family with his firefighter father, mother and older brother. Ha-Myeong and his older brother (Yoon Gyun-Sang) both possess higher than normal intellect and are proud of their father. A fire at a waste facility though destroys his family. His mother dies a short time later and Ha-Myeong ends up being scooped out of the ocean by an unknown man (Byun Hee-Bong).
The unknown man is the grandfather of  In ha(Park shin hye). In ha's grandfather mistook Ha-myeong as Dal-po(In-ha's uncle who died 30 years ago) Ha-myeong started to live as dal po. Despite being same age, In-ha and Dal-po starts to live together as uncle and niece. In-ha has ''Pinocchio'' Syndromes which causes her to have hiccups when she lies.
Years later, They moves to Seoul where In ha and Dalpo tries to be reporters. In ha eventually becomes reporter even though she can't lie. Together Dal-po and In-ha fights for justice.

GOOD

The Plot may seem boring, Two great leads who fights for the truth. but for a fact, I can assure you the show wasn't lacking in anything. infact, It was rather interesting and heart-whelming plot to watch.

  • Pinochio Syndromes: I found the adding of pinocchio syndrome as ''attention-grabbing'' factor of the show. It's hard to find a female lead who always says the truth no matter what. Will you find a kdrama female lead who didn't lie, even for once. In-ha AKA Park shin hye was commendable in this drama. I loved loved loved Park shin hye in Pinocchio, I cannot imagine the show without her. It was freaking adorable alright? everytime she had hiccups while lying, I was like ''GOD! PLEASE I WANT PINOCCHIO''.
Related imageImage result for pinocchio korean drama park shin hye hiccups
  • Lee Jong Suk: I started this drama for Lee jong suk, and stayed for Lee jong suk. You will witness lee jong suk with his magical long hair for 3 episodes. Unfortunately, he gets a new look after moving to Seoul. Still magical. Lee jong suk potrayed the character of Dal-po. Dal-po's character was enjoyable to watch. He was patient and mature. I loved how he wanted to keep distance from In-ha seeing that, she is her niece, but later on he was the one who fell for her.
Image result for pinocchio korean drama lee jong suk

  • Uncle-niece: Can I tell you, I loved this twist. Two leads were constantly fighting for not to fall for each other, They had a funny relationship throughout the series. Dalpo always teases In-ha calling her ''niece'' and treating her like a child even though they are exactly the same age. It was definitely not cringey, I am ensuring you, You will love it (if you haven't watched the show yet). and don't even get me started on chemistry! 10/10. adding to that, The first kiss between In-ha and Dal-po was just.......

♥♥♥

  • Characters: I am warning you if you haven't watch the show yet, you will fall in love with every character possible. I absolutely adored the fact that i was into every single one of them. This show isn't just about our main characters, other supporting characters had equal screen space. I am missing them soooooo much T.T
Image result for pinocchio korean drama funny moments

Everything else: Ugh! I hate the fact that i have so many good things to write about, but I can't. you know what, i will. here you go other stuff i absolutely pleased with...

  • Love triangle: I enjoyed it! for the first time i am happy with love triangle. Not because I didn't like the second lead or something. It was because the second lead was just a good friend of them.
  • The story of Beom jo. How he ended up with In-ha.
  • Beom jo and his mother's relationship
  • The twist and turns you will get the end
  • all the reporting cases. It was surprisingly enjoyable and funny. I had a great laugh while watching new reporters getting bullied from their seniors.hehe
  • The boss of Dal-po.
  • In-ha's dad. He is so funny! I enjoyed the way he hated Dal-po for two reason. 1. Dal-po was way younger than him, still he had to call dal-po ''Hyung''  2.He thinks Dal-po will marry In-ha(which is true)
  • My favourite scene: When the dad was imagining Dal-po and In-ha sharing bread. I died in that part.
  • Dal-po  being genius but always acted like he never touched a book.
  • I liked how the story was wrapped up. Everyone had their own happy ending.

BAD

  • The drama was definitely long. Now if I look back and wanted to watch this drama again, I definitely think it would've been better if it was 16 episode long. After re watching the drama, at ep 12/13 I kept thinking how they still have story to tell? Surely it was long but definitely not boring. The show has it's plus point to keep us hooked in every episode.
  • I didn't like how Dal-po's brother took the path of killing everybody he knew was involved with the fire incident. I wanted to like his character but after seeing him killing people, I couldn't help but creeped out.
